My Mom recently gave me my Great-Grandmother's jewelry box. It was filled with her old costume jewelry that I remember playing with when I was a little girl. Unfortunately a lot of it was broken. I did not want to just throw it away, there were some really great pieces in there! So I thought I would try my hand at making some jewelry... We will see how it turns out.

Stripes, Stripes, Stripes

Anybody that knows me knows I LOVE stripes, and they are all the rage right now! it is like I have died and gone to a nautical heaven!

What I Love Right Now!

My Grandmother has a lemon tree in her backyard, so during the spring and summer she is always giving my Mom and I bags of lemons. I have them in a bowl on my coffee table right now. When I sit on my couch they give off the best aroma. I think I am going to use these lemons as inspiration for my Mother's Day brunch table setting.

Pillow Project

I made a post a while back about wanting to make some pillows to sell on Etsy. I have never done piping on a pillow before; let me tell you it is much harder than I thought!

For my first try, I think they turned out pretty well.
